I Bought a Domain 4 Years Ago. Here’s Why I Never Published Anything.

Every time I came back to my blog, a blank canvas stared back at me. I felt the void deep inside my chest. It was just a dream left untouched.

I opened my laptop, asking myself — what have I done so far? What is my closest thing that I engage with? That I interact with? IT felt like the obvious answer. I’ve been working with computers since school. But that doesn’t mean I know what I’m doing. The niche of IT is too big. And if I niche it down — what if I’m not good enough to talk about that particular subject?

So I closed my laptop. Pissed off. Told myself maybe blogging just isn’t for me. Maybe I should follow the stream and continue with normal life.

Then somewhere in those lost years, I stumbled into a game called Elden Ring. I had never played video games before. Naturally I was terrible at it. But here is the thing about Elden Ring — the game was built so you quit. It makes you feel useless on purpose. Because it is hard. And the only way through is to try again. You lose the first boss? Go kill smaller enemies. Earn runes. Upgrade your weapon. Come back. Still lose? Repeat. The game never changes. You change.

That is when I realised — blogging is no different. You don’t have to know everything before you start. You just have to start. When you stumble, you find a guide. Seek help. Make mistakes. Find solutions. Repeat.

I am not there yet. But starting today will be the day I implement what I learned from Elden Ring and bring it to real world action. Through my blog.
